Budget hotels in Miami

Miami Beach and the city of Miami are different bookings. South Beach is the busiest part of the island, walkable once you are there and noisy on weekend nights. Mid-Beach, farther north, is quieter and still on the sand side. Across the causeway, downtown and Brickell fit meetings better than a beach morning. Wynwood, north of downtown, is chosen for that neighborhood rather than the water. Coral Gables, to the southwest, is leafier and more residential. Miami International is west of the beaches, so South Beach is not a short taxi. The cruise port is beside downtown, which makes Brickell or downtown the simpler night before a sailing.

Beach weekends, boat shows, and holiday weeks crowd the island first. If you can shift a night, search it. A mainland room plus a ride to the sand can match the plan, if you meant to make that ride. Read parking and property charges before you treat the nightly rate as the full cost.

If the weekend might move, filter the results to Free cancellation. A hotel remains when it has a refundable offer, and the shown price is that offer. Rates that cannot be cancelled stay non-refundable; the filter does not rewrite them. You still see Free cancellation or Non-refundable on the room before you pay, and free cancellation can end at the penalty deadline on the rate.

No separate PennyStay booking fee. Our price is the total you see. Miami puts the nightly rate and the amount charged now on the results. Any fee the hotel collects at check-in on the beach or on the mainland is shown before you book. When a Miami rate does not say whether a tax applies, checkout says a tax may still apply. A causeway fee may apply. You book only when you confirm.
